Report: iPad 3 Design is the Same as the iPad 2

Will the iPad 3 carry the same design as the iPad 2? According to iLounge, yes.

When Apple launched the iPhone 4S, many people were disappointed. For one thing, it wasn't the iPhone 5. For another, it was basically just a copy of the iPhone 4 with some minor hardware upgrades.
Something similar happened with the iPad 2. It made no real huge departure from the original iPad in terms of design. It was a little slimmer, sure, and there were some minor upgrades inside, but the two devices looked largely the same. Many assumed that this meant the iPad was subject to the same iPhone 3G to 3GS (and now iPhone 4 to 4S) update cycle in that there would only be a major upgrade every other year, with small tweaks to these models in the years between. However, it seems those looking forward to an all new iPad will be disappointed yet again with the iPad 3.

Galaxy Nexus to Arrive in White for UK Next Month

Who wants to have the same color phone as everyone else?
The Galaxy Nexus is unique in that it carries Google's 'Nexus' moniker alongside Samsung's 'Galaxy' branding. This represents the first time that Google has allowed the manufacturing partner of one of its Nexus phones to have an equal share in the name of the device and indicates that Samsung was a little more than just a third party manufacturer. As such, it seems only right that the Galaxy Nexus get the same treatment as the Galaxy S, the Galaxy S II, the Nexus S and numerous other Samsung devices in that it will be available in both black and white. This makes the Nexus One the only Nexus device that was not offered in white.
UK retailer Clove is now taking pre-orders for a white version of the Galaxy Nexus, which will supposedly launch on February 6. Pricing for this snowy white Galaxy Nexus is set at £498, the same price Clove is charging for the black model. Shipping to the U.S. is available for those that can't wait to see when this phone will arrive in the U.S. For those who can sit on their wallets a while longer, we'll update you when we know more.

HP's Got a Crazy-slim Laptop Called the Spectre

It's hard to go back to work after a few days off, but HP is sure coming back with a bang. The company this week leaked a video to Engadget that shows an incredibly thin laptop that's believed to be the newest Envy and the latest notebook to join HP's Ultrabook line. The video itself gives away little in the way of information, however, with CES only a week away, it's likely that HP plans to share more about this device in Las Vegas in just a few day's time.
