It's no big secret that a new iPhone is on its way – especially not after the leaks found in both California and Vietnam. Now Apple appears to be shooting TV ads to promote the new device, according to Twitter updates from actors auditioning for the roles.
What's more, Engadget claims to have a source that tells them that one of the spots include a mother and daughter having a video chat using the front-facing camera on the new iPhone.
One of the commercials is supposedly being directed by Sam Mendes, of American Beauty fame. If Apple is putting that sort of talent (and money) behind the ads for a new iPhone, then we'll probably see it at the WWDC event on June 7.
