Google releases Chrome Beta for Android, lets you sample upcoming features in advance

The Google Chrome browser for Android started life as a beta download from the Play Store, but was shortly promoted to the stable status. However, unlike with the desktop version, there was no separate beta channel that you could download later if you wanted to be on the bleeding edge of the browser’s development.
That is, until now. Google has released the new Chrome Beta for Android, which, just like its desktop counterpart, would let you sample all the upcoming features and improvements before they hit the stable version.
Of course, being a beta version means you are likely to run into some bugs and stability issues but if you’re fine with all of that then you can hit the download link below.

Youtube to be re-opened after Filtration of Anti-Islamic Content: PM

The social video sharing site YouTube will be reopened after the completion of filtration mechanism, said Prime Minister of Pakistan, Raja Parvez Ashraf.
He was quoted as saying,
“We believe in access to free information. The only reason not to unblock YouTube is the presence of blasphemous material on it. We will open it as soon as we have a filtration mechanism.”
YouTube was blocked in Pakistan on 17th September after the protest against the Anti-Islamic film was uploaded on YouTube. The Interior Minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik order to unblock YouTube on29th December, 2012, but within an hour of its opening, the prime minister re-imposed the ban because an anti-Islam film had not been removed.
Earlier, PTA said  that the talks were underway with YouTube’s parent company Google for the removal of blasphemous content from the website.

Cellular Subscribers Surpass 121.6 Million in Pakistan

Mobile phone subscriptions surpassed 121.6 million in October 2012, as per latest stats issued by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
Regulator, in its report, said that all cellular companies added over 1 Million subscribers during the reported month to take the total base to 121,602,339 subscription by end of October 2012. Stats said that cellular tele-density reached 68.8 percent, up from 68.3 percent a month ago.
Mobilink lead the market with 36,388,770 subscribers after adding 314,782 customers in October 2012. Telenor stood at second slot with 30,428,972 customers. Ufone had 24,072,203 customers by October end and it added 243,194 new customers in the said month.
Zong had 17,951,385 customers by October 2013. It added 150,353 customers in the month.
Warid showed positive growth for the first time after several months and added 114,151 customers during the fourth month of fiscal year 2013. Warid’s total subscription base hit 12,761,009 mark.
