Dropbox for Android updated with ability to move files and folders

We all love Dropbox here. It’s easily the best way to quickly transfer small files between devices without the hassles of using a cable and also great for backing up important data.
Now the Android version of the app has hit version 2.2.2, which brings with it a small but significant change. You can now move files and folders around, something that was annoyingly missing in the previous versions. Just tap on the drop down menu button next to the file or folder, and then use the Move option to select a location where you’d like to move it.
Other changes include the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

Team Pakistan won 4 Silver Awards at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2012 ceremony held at the Empire Country Club in Brunei Darussalam last night, said a statement issued by PASHA.
The Centre for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE) won a Silver in the Communications category; Tunacode’s gKrypt won the Silver award in the Security Category; Pi-Labs Inc’s Candy Pot and Feed Garfield Gaming Engine won the Silver in New Media and Entertainment and the NUST/CARE joint submission on “Early detection of Diabetic Retinopathy without invasive die injection” picked up a Silver in the Research and Development category.
The Awards ceremony was graced by the Crown Prince of Brunei, Senior Ministers, the Diplomatic community in the Capital and dignitaries at the Empire Hotel and Country Club Resort.
Although this year’s P@SHA delegation was small in comparison with previous years with only 6 technology products competing for the prestigious APICTA Awards, the teams delivered a stunning performance in front of the who’s who of the technology industry in the Asia Pacific region with four out of the six winning the Silver Award in the Security, Research & Development, Communications and New Media & Entertainment categories.
International APICTA Judges from 16 economies who evaluated the categories in which Pakistan participated spoke about the consistently high standard of technology products presented by Pakistan year after year. This year Team Pakistan benchmarked its products against 153 products from the region.
Over the years the Asia Pacific ICT Awards event has become a platform for the best technology companies in the Asia Pacific to meet and form potential partnerships with each other, attract business and possible investment.
Team Pakistan had won two Gold and five Silver APICTA awards last year.
